Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
Sapa - VietnamAt 08: 30 pm our tour guide will pick you up at hotel lobby to escort you to the Hanoi railway station for night train to Sapa tours. The train conditions are very basic however we will travel in soft sleeper class which is compartment for 4 passengers. Stay overnight on the train.

Day 1: Sapa - Y linh Ho - Lao Chai San - Lao Chai - Ta Van (L, D)
Train arrives at Lao Cai Railway Station at 06.00am, transferred to 
Sapa trekking tours by bus. Have your breakfast at restaurant in the town and have a walk to Sapa market to see the local people purchasing the product. At 10: 00am we leave the hotel and start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa trekking tours. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing. After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green color. The Zay houses are building of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. We stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van and have our dinner here.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Supan - Sapa (B)
Sapa - VietnamAfter breakfast at homestay prepared by your guide, we start our trip by following the river, crossing on rice terrace to Red Dzao village, the village of woman with colorful clothes and legend of life. After visit their house, we continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River and trek up to Su pan where you will meet the jeep and transfer back to Sapa.

Option 1: Free at leisure for shopping or doing something you are interested in until time transfer back to Laocai railway station for night train back to Hanoi.
Stay over night on train.

Day 3: Hanoi arrival
Train arrives Hanoi around 06: 00am, turn back to hotel on your own.

Option 2: Check into hotel for accommodation for this night at Sapa town. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 3: Sapa - Free at Leisure
Free on your own to explore misty town,
Sapa tours with friendly people and ethnic or stroll around the market for shopping until time transfer to Lao Cai railway station for night train back to Hanoi. Stay overnight on train.

Day 4: Hanoi arrival
Train arrives around 06: 00am, turn back to your hotel on your own. End tour.

Day 1: Overnight train to Sapa
At 19.30 you are picked up at hotel in Hanoi and transferred to Hanoi railways station for a 10 hour journey to Lao Cai, we travel in First Class sleeper train.

Overnight: on train (Shared cabin, first class with 4 berths)

Day 2 : Sapa short trek, visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages
The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:00 am where our guide will welcome you. Look for the sign bearing your name when you exit the train station. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car to Sapa trekking tours (about 1.5 hours)
At an elevation of 1500 meters, Sapa was founded in the early years of the last century as a hill resort for French administrators in summer time. Just soak up the fresh climate by spending our time wandering this famous hill town. The ethnic people are frequently seen on the main street of Sapa trekking tours and small vendors along the street selling local textiles and handicraft
After breakfast our guide will come to hotel and pick you up for a
short walk along buffalo paths andSapa trekking tours trails through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to H'mong, and Dzay people. Day 3 Cat Cat valley village, overnight train back to Hanoi
In the morning our guide will pick you up for a short walk to Cat Cat Village, set in a beautiful valley just outside Sapa. Cat Cat is home to the H'mong people who originated from China about 3,000 years ago. The H'mong people are easily recognisable by their dark blue or black clothing, dyed using the juice of indigo plants, which are native to the area. H'mong women wear long aprons with embroidered waistcoats and have their hair rolled up into a turban-like hat, while the men wear black skullcaps, long waistcoats and loose trousers.
In the afternoon you are free at your leisure until your transfer to the train station for the overnight train back to Hanoi. Tour ends on arrival at Hanoi Railway station
